Script:
I think I did pretty good on the test. I felt good about most of the conjugations, except for some of the irregular verbs. I also wasn’t completely confident about the definitions, but overall I think I knew most of the content. I want to get better at conjugating irregular verbs and just knowing those in general. I’m definitely not spending enough time outside of class practicing, but I’m also not sure how I can do that. Nobody in my family speaks Spanish, so it’s difficult to speak it at home, and I don’t have very much free time to practice. I want to practice more, I just don’t know how.

Midterm Video Reflection
I think that overall, our video went pretty well. We didn't forget or leave out any lines, and I think our pronunciation sounded pretty good. I'm really proud of both of us for getting our lines down relatively early on, so we were prepared for the video and nothing really went wrong. I was also proud of our initial script, and how we managed to incorporate some regular conversational dialogue while still using sentences we didn't know before. Throughout the whole time leading up to our video, my partner, Luci, was very helpful in encouraging and helping me. For example, I was absent the day the midterm video was assigned, so she called me after school and explained everything to me, so we were able to get started on our script right away. I would definitely work with her again. There are a lot of phrases from our script that I could use in a regular conversation; for example, the phrase ¿donde trabajas? or, where do you work? would be a very normal thing to say in a conversation, and therefore it will be a beneficial phrase for me to know. In addition, the phrase ¿vives por aquí? or, do you live around here? would also be a phrase I could use in a regular encounter. Another, less exciting, phrase would be "por cierto," or, "by the way," would one that I would use in everyday conversations and life, and another similar type of phrase would be "eso es verdad," or, "that is true." The last phrase that I feel like I might use in conversations or daily life would be "¿cómo se llama tu perro? or, what do you call your dog? because I have a tendency to inquire the name of every dog I see. If I were to give myself a letter grade, I would give myself an A, because of how dedicated I was to preparing for this video, and I think that the actual filming of my video went well enough to warrant a good grade.
